We collect what we need to run your account and process payments — nothing more. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising. The client data you put into Tabulox stays yours; we just process it for you. You can access, correct, or delete your information at any time.
1 Who we are
Tabulox is operated by Sparkle Intelligence (“Tabulox,” “we,” “us”). This policy covers personal information we handle through the Tabulox website and app. When you use Tabulox to manage your own clients, you are the controller of your clients’ data and we act as your processor — see section 4. For questions, reach us at privacy@sparkleintelligence.com.
2 Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your name, email, password, and any company or profile information you add.
- Billing details — your subscription is handled by Stripe. We receive limited information such as the last four digits of a card and payment status; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Business content — the quotes, proposals, invoices, line items, and client records you create in Tabulox.
- Support messages — anything you send us when you ask for help.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage and device data — things like your IP address, browser and device type, pages and features you use, and timestamps.
- Cookies — a small set of cookies that keep you signed in and secure. See our Cookie Policy.
3 How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Provide and operate Tabulox, including quoting, invoicing, and tracking receivables.
- Process payments and subscriptions through Stripe.
- Authenticate you and keep your account and the platform secure.
- Provide support and respond to your requests.
- Send you service messages, and occasional product updates you can opt out of.
- Understand and improve how the product is used.
- Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for third-party advertising.
4 Data about your clients
Tabulox is a tool you use to manage your own clients. The client information you add — names, contacts, amounts owed, invoice history — belongs to you. For that data, you are the controller and we are your processor: we handle it to provide the service and follow your reasonable instructions, and we don’t use it for our own purposes.
You’re responsible for having a lawful basis to add your clients’ information and for telling them how you use it. If one of your clients asks us about their data, we’ll generally direct them to you.
5 How we share information
We don’t sell your data. We share it only in these situations:
- Service providers we rely on to run Tabulox, listed below, under contracts that limit them to processing data on our behalf.
- At your direction — for example, sending an invoice or reminder to a client you’ve added.
- Legal reasons — to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, or protect our rights, users, and the public.
- Business transfers — if Tabulox is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale, with notice where required.
Our main service providers (subprocessors):
| Provider | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing and fraud prevention. | US / global |
| Google (Firebase) | Account sign-in and authentication. | US / global |
| Cloud hosting | Hosting and storing the application and its data. | US / global |
6 Legal bases for processing
If you’re in the UK or European Economic Area, we process your personal data on these legal bases: to perform our contract with you (running your account and payments); our legitimate interests (securing, supporting, and improving the service); legal obligations (tax and accounting); and your consent where we ask for it, which you can withdraw at any time.
7 How long we keep data
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as long as we need it to provide the service. After that, we keep what we’re required to for legal, tax, and accounting reasons — invoices and payment records often must be retained for several years — and then delete or anonymize the rest. You can ask us to delete your account and data, subject to those obligations.
8 Security
We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure. Payments run through Stripe, a PCI-compliant processor, so sensitive card data never touches our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
9 International data transfers
We and our providers may process your information in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses — where the law requires them.
10 Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us at privacy@sparkleintelligence.com. If your request concerns data one of our customers added about you, we may refer you to that customer as the controller. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
11 Children’s privacy
Tabulox is a business tool for adults and isn’t directed to anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll remove it.
12 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product or the law changes. When we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, give you clearer notice. Continuing to use Tabulox after an update means you accept the revised policy.
